Training Programs for Supervisors
Train the Trainer
These programs builds supervisor character and enhances communications
throughout the entire jobsite. Management will observe supervisors
developing superior communication skills. This program helps reduce
accidents and other losses by establishing standards of behavior and personal
relationships between the hourly worker and his/her immediate supervisor.
This is a motivational program that causes supervisors to want
to teach.
Job Hazard Analysis
Supervisors are taught how to use a job hazard analysis. They are
shown how, when, where, why and with whom job hazard analyses are to be used.
Supervisors are motivated to want to teach using a written job hazard analysis
and thereby establish rigid criteria for the employee.
Incident Investigation
Supervisors are taught how to investigate all incidents of loss or near
loss and are motivated to want to investigate all incidents. They are
shown the critical value of on-the-jobsite investigations. They are
shown how supervisors' investigations have saved companies millions of dollars
and prevented catastrophic losses by eliminating "foreseeable"
potentials with liability losses. We have investigation forms than can
be implemented.
Jobsite Safety Meetings
Supervisors are taught how to conduct "tool box" safety meetings
as well as "job site" safety meetings with all employees and
subcontractors. This program establishes a firm format for each category
of meeting. Supervisors are motivated to want to conduct safety
meetings. They are shown how such meetings improve job site
communications, relations and control. Attendees learn the critical
value of records, as well as how to generate and maintain safety records.
