Training Programs for Employees
Introduction to Loss Control
This program identifies and explains the basic concepts of loss control
programming. Employees are taught and/or made aware of the real reasons
for on-the-job injuries as well as how and why companies sometimes go out of
business as a result of a single law suit or accident. Special emphasis
is given to the fact that 90% of all worker injuries are the result of
improper behavior due to the lack of training and motivation. Employees
learn their role in loss control and are motivated to accept
responsibility. This program is designed on the "We Win"
concept. Employees are stimulated and motivated to be a "winner on
a winning team."
Fire Emergency Training Programs (Phase I, II, and III)
BMC offers three unique emergency training programs. Phase I
teaches employees what their responsibilities are in a fire situation.
It is directed to improve the employees' understanding of fire behavior and
human behavior in fire situations. Phase II is designed for
management and results in the development and/or updating of written standard
operating guidelines. This reduces the likelihood of a major fire loss
and hence the possibility of successful litigation after the fire. Phase
III is primarily for management and maintenance personnel. This
program teachers the what, when, where, how, and why regarding the fire
detection, alarm, and suppression equipment in use.
